In particular, inadequate vitamin E and vitamin C  intakehave been reported to cause preeclampsia(pregnancy poisoning) and low birth weight baby, yet there is not enough datato suggest that vitamin supplements reduce these conditions. Nevertheless, we should makesure that we consume enough of the vegetable oils, wheat, hazelnuts, spinachand cereals rich in vitamin E and citrus, pepper, peas, strawberries, potatoes, broccoli and tomatoes rich in vitamin C.
